Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

I had the privilege and opportunity to go on a mission trip to Vietnam from July 3 – 13, 2024, to support training, ministering, and encouraging church leaders and field workers to share Jesus in Vietnam. We went to the unreached region of northern Vietnam, near the China border, where the Gospel is needed the most among the ethnic people. 

God has given us a growing knowledge of the evangelism and ministry needs of the Vietnamese people. We trained using Alpha to equip people to share Jesus, prayer walked and listened to what the Holy Spirit was doing in this unreached ethnic region of Vietnam. These ethnic groups live in small villages high up in the mountains with little access to electricity. They are mostly illiterate because they live in an oral culture. We will teach ethnic pastors and church leaders to use Alpha in a Biblical storytelling format that doesn’t rely on modern technology. We pray that leaders will be equipped to spread the gospel from home to home. 

We continue to pray for:

• The hearts of the ethnic pastors, church leaders, and missionaries serving in Vietnam will be receptive to God’s Word, and lives will be forever changed!
• The health, effectiveness, and unity of those serving in missions.
• That God would raise up more prayers for the unreached people groups of the world.
